Exercises for Pregnant Women
Women can attend physical exercise classes at the swimming pool. The water in the swimming pool does not irritate the skin or eyes because it is treated with new-generation filters and ozone, while the UV steriliser fights against harmful bacteria. The ozone-treated water is much cleaner and less harmful for pregnant women.
At the time of pregnancy the center of gravity in a woman’s body changes, therefore the period of happy waiting is often clouded with back pains. Pool exercise helps relieve pain and improves one’s mood. Water exercise not only prevents muscles from drooping, but also improves the function of cardiovascular system in preparation for a difficult challenge – childbirth.
Exercises After Birth
Special water exercises after birth helps women to recover strength and beautiful body. In about eight weeks after birth mothers are invited to come back to exercises help restore abdominal muscle tone. Due to load capacity of water, body weight is lessened therefore leg and back joints are less strained in water.
Exercising in water strengthens the pelvis, thigh, back and abdomen muscles. After pregnancy a woman’s muscles and ligaments remain stretched and lose their tightness, so they must be returned to the initial state and strengthened as soon as possible.
