How to prepare for a urine test

Early morning urine (“mid-stream”) is most appropriate for the test. Carefully wash your genitals before collecting the urine. The urine must be collected in a special container which can be purchased at a pharmacy. The “first stream” of the urine must be collected for the test for sexually transmitted diseases.
